// BIOGRAPHY //
Rapture is an oldschool death/thrash band that was formed in January 2013 in Athens Greece. After two Demos, the lineup was stabilized in 2014 consisting of Apostolos Papadimitriou (Guitars/vox) Nikitas Melios (Guitars) Stamatis Petrou (Bass) Giorgos Melios ( Drums) and this has been the lineup ever since. With this lineup and at a very young age the band released its 1st album “Crimes Against Humanity” by Witches Brew. Just one year later the band released Total Madness Reigns EP on 100 hand numbered tapes which were soon sold out. Due to that, the EP is available again on CD format by Vulkan Records. The band's Breakthrough was the release of their 2nd album “Paroxysm of Hatred” by the Spanish Label Memento Mori. The album received amazing critics by magazines around the world and its almost sold out, while now its available in Vinyl format through Empire records.
The band has played all over Europe, in numerous festival and has headlined a European tour alongside Violent Definition. Currently Rapture plays the final european shows promoting the album Paroxysm of Hatred and prepare their 3rd full length album.
